Most homes end up with devices from four brands and four apps. We set up the ones that run on batteries, USB or a plug, and get them onto one ecosystem (Alexa, Google Home, Apple Home) so they behave like one system instead of seven. Anything that has to be wired into the house circuit is a different trade, and we say so before the visit rather than after.
There is a gap in this market. On one side, DIY setups where half the devices end up in a drawer. On the other, integrators quoting five figures for proprietary systems. We work the middle: equipment you can buy anywhere, set up and configured properly.

Honest limits
We don't do electrical panel work, in-wall electrical wiring, or permit-required installs. When a project needs a licensed electrician, we say so upfront.

That's one of our most common visits. Bring-your-own-equipment is fine. We install, connect and configure what you have, and tell you honestly if something isn't worth installing.
Often no. Most mainstream devices connect straight to Wi-Fi. Larger setups (or Zigbee/Z-Wave gear) benefit from one. We'll tell you based on what you own, not on what we'd like to sell you.
