For contractors & integrators

On-site support.
A scope in writing.

What we take on

Defined tasks with a deliverable at the end, not open-ended labour.

Smart hands

Scheduled or callout attendance: swap a device, read a panel, run a test, send photos back. Diagnosis without opening what we were not asked to open (Master LV-C-12).

Cabling and terminations

Runs, terminations, patch panels and dressing to your spec and labelling scheme (LV-C-01).

Testing and reports

Certification testing with the results returned in the format you file them in (LV-C-13).

Equipment deployment

Staged rollouts, swap-outs, displays, kiosks and POS across sites (GS-15, GS-02).

Documentation

Port maps, labelling, as-built notes and photo records. Often the part that gets dropped, which is why we price it in.

Decommissioning

Removal of abandoned cable and retired equipment, with what was removed written down (GS-16).

How the contractual side works

  • Commercial work, under a licensed prime. We work within your classification and group, with supervision where the statute requires it (Master GS-12).
  • We do not take residential work on that basis. The rule for commercial subcontracting does not carry across to residential, and a company or property manager hiring work on a house does not make that house commercial.
  • We do not work on alarm systems under anyone’s licence. Intrusion and fire alarm have their own licensing, and a 1099 arrangement does not substitute for it.
  • Scope in writing before we start. Which tasks are ours, what gets handed back, and what we stop and escalate instead of improvising.
  • We tell you what we did not do. If we find something outside the agreed scope, it goes in the report rather than quietly into the work.

Being 1099 is not a licence, and we do not treat it as one. Where a task needs a classification we do not hold, we say so before the visit.

Common questions

What do you need to mobilise?

Site address and access, the scope, your labelling convention if you have one, and the name of whoever signs off on site.

Can you work to our documentation standard?

Yes. Tell us the format you file in and the results come back in it.

Do you carry insurance?

Yes. Certificates are provided on request before the first assignment.

What about work outside the agreed scope?

It is reported, not absorbed. You decide whether it becomes a variation.

Tell us what the assignment is.
